SR&ED Sales Representative

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in the field of business or marketing.
  • Strong sales background.
  • Experience in professional services sales a strong asset.
  • Outstanding communication skills and professionalism when dealing with potential clients.
  • Willingness to develop expertise in key tax and technical aspects of SR&ED tax credit claims to effectively promote Pioneers services.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, develop creative sales tactics and deliver results.

SR&ED Technical Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the client project team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive technical interviews with the client team and producing technical reports.
  • You will provide clients with timely and responsive services and advise.
  • You will demonstrate deep understanding of the client's industry and technical aspects of the SR&ED program to produce technical descriptions that meet the government eligibility criteria.
  • You will apply your education background to discuss technical concepts with the clients R&D or Engineering staff.
  • You will contribute to the success of the entire team by providing assistance in all technical issues to ensuring claim's integrity and eligibility.
  • You will stay current with the latest developments and changes in the SR&ED legislature.
  • You will assist and guide clients during technical audits with the CRA.

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in the field of science, technology or engineering.
  • Outstanding technical writing skills and editing capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulately discuss and convey technical matters in a variety of industries.
  • Experience in preparing SR&ED tax credit claims or in working for the CRA auditing - preferred but not mandatory.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to work comfortably and effectively with external client personnel at all levels of management.
  • Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and to simultaneously handle multiple client projects.
  • Interest in developing expert knowledge of technical aspects of the SR&ED tax incentive program.
  • Prior consulting experience an asset.
  • Ability to travel to client locations.

SR&ED Financial Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the client project team, you will be responsible for determining and categorizing all expenditures qualifying for the SR&ED tax credits.
  • You will provide clients with professional and timely services and advise.
  • You will demonstrate deep understanding of the tax principles and ability to produce effective solutions related to the SR&ED program.
  • You will apply your knowledge to discuss complex tax issues with the client’s management.
  • You will prepare all the SR&ED tax forms for client submissions and work with client's accountants on SR&ED related corporate tax return issues.
  • You will contribute to the success of the engagement team by providing assistance in complex tax and financial issues to ensuring the claim's integrity and eligibility.
  • You will stay current with the latest developments and changes in the SR&ED legislature.
  • You will assist and guide clients during financial audits with the CRA.

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in the field of finance, accounting or economics.
  • Strong background in taxation and costing - professional designations in accounting a strong asset.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to articulately discuss and convey financial and taxation matters pertaining to a variety of industries.
  • Experience in preparing SR&ED tax credit claims or in working for the CRA auditing - preferred but not mandatory.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to work comfortably and effectively with external client personnel at all levels of management.
